COOKING CLASSES

LEARN TO COOK AND BAKE

WITH THE NONCHALANT COOK

Private Cooking Lessons

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced cook, my cooking lessons are a fun and hands-on educational experience where you will have an opportunity to learn new techniques or elevate your cooking skills.

The lessons are private and designed for one or two students. I promise you will feel relaxed and comfortable. This is a fantastic bonding experience for a couple, and of course, you get to enjoy the food we prepared!

We will start with a brief explanation of the menu and I will demo the techniques we will learn. You will then roll up your sleeves and start cooking. I will guide you through every step, explain its purpose, and answer your questions. You will get to sample the food as we move along and feast when we are done!

The lessons are fully customizable and take place either in my home (in Hell’s Kitchen) or I can also travel to you. Classes are 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours long and include 3-4 menu items made from start to finish, depending on what you’re interested in learning, dietary restrictions you may have, and the available kitchen equipment.

No kitchen is too small to teach in, but also be prepared to use tabletops in living areas as extra class space.

The price is $150 per person and includes the cost of food if taken in my house, or just the cost of fresh produce if I travel to you. You will need to provide basic pantry items (oils, spices, etc). A bottle of wine is included as well.

I

have been a recreational cooking instructor for many years and love teaching and sharing my passion for food. My approach is to teach how to cook from the heart, without having to rely on an exact recipe. I want you to have fun and come out of this with actual knowledge that you can apply to your everyday cooking.

I would love to hear more from you about what you are interested in learning and when would you like to start. Let’s schedule a quick call to discuss the details.
